Links worth Looking At

Does anyone look at a Blog on Saturday? I do. You do. Thanks for stopping by to see what's going on today.

Since it is Saturday I thought it would be good to share a couple of links with you of some of the sights I have visited this past week. We could think of today as a time to explore some "Links worth Looking At."

First up, is a well written article over at the Gospel Coalition website addressing the issue of "sarcasm." I found it interesting and thought provoking. We all know one or two people who seem to have the "gift" of sarcasm... well, I am not so sure it is a gift.

Here is how the article begins: "A friend recently introduced me as her "sarcastic friend." She said it was my sarcasm that convinced her we'd hit it off. Isn't that how Jesus said we would be known? You know, by our sarcasm?" read the rest of the article HERE.

Next, what if your son wanted to use the girls restroom at school, while there were other girls in the restroom? Or what if your daughter were in the restroom and a boy decided he wanted to come into the same restroom with her? You may think, "Well, that's not going to happen." Well, you better think again - it is happening and it will happen more and more. A male may choose to "identify" as a female and as such will have the right to enter and use the girls restroom. Here is a LINK to an article that details this very situation. This is not happening in colleges or other "liberal" type institutions or gathering places - no this is happening at elementary schools and high schools! Check this STORY out about a 6 year old with some serious gender identity issues.
