Gearing up for 2011
The end of the year is an exciting time! It is a time to look back over all that has been accomplished and to look ahead to what is yet to be accomplished. It is a time to reflect on blessings received and to anticipate blessings to come. It is a time of planning, preparing and praying for the dreams and visions that lie just ahead of where we are now.
Perhaps like me you have heard the saying: "If we always do what we have always done, we always get what we have always gotten." Well, I do not want to be satisfied with the status quo; I want to press on, move forward and accomplish all that I can by the grace of God, for the glory of God, and the good of others. So the prospects of a New Year excite me because of the untapped potential that lies in the days, weeks and months ahead of us.
So I invite you to join me in "Gearing up for 2011" - it's going to be an exciting journey!
