Welcome to The Family!

On Sunday, we will continue our "New" series by learning that we have a "New Household." As believers, we are adopted into the family of God and we are brothers and sisters together. I love the words of the Gaither song that captures this truth so well.

I'm so glad I'm a part of the Family of God,
I've been washed in the fountain, cleansed by His blood!
Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod,
For I'm part of the family,
The Family of God.

You will notice we say "brother and sister" 'round here,
It's because we're a family and these are so near;
When one has a heartache, we all share the tears,
And rejoice in each victory in this family so dear.

Let's pray for God to draw our hearts even closer together and let's enjoy the time we have together this Sunday with our Salem Baptist Family.

We will continue to enjoy our family gathering on Sunday evening with a church wide picnic at 6:00. Invite some friends and family to join us. We will have good food, outdoor games and a great time together as a FAMILY.
